Being a Pastor’s Kid, Pastor Scott was born in Danville, Illinois and raised mostly in Iowa. He graduated from Concordia University Chicago and served as a D.C.E (Director of Christian Education) from 2003-2016 at Salem Lutheran Church in Salem, IL. And St. Michael Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. He went to Concordia Theological Seminary and graduated in 2020. He has been at Promise ever since. He has been married to his wife, Zara since 1998 and they have 4 daughters and 1 son-in law; Grace (Isaiah), Hope, Joy, and Glory. The Hedtke’s enjoy hanging out together in their big yard and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
